Conservative Tooth Crack Management | Cosmetic Dentist Auckland

Large amalgams cause cracks via the Poisson Effect as per my mentor Graeme Milicich.  Solids can bend under load.  The question is: how much do you drill?  In this case, we had an enamel marginal ridge hairline fracture, but decided to just attack the ones that involved dentin definitively in this stabilization phase.  BTW, the purple dam is a non-latex dam from #SanctuaryDams.
