This premolar featured proximal caries on the mesial interestingly emanating from leakage down the mesial aspect of the occlusal amalgam margin. The entire DO was replaced at the same time. The marginal ridges were reconstructed using Garrison's Compositight 3D XR system, which featured a very stable grip on the dreaded canine-first premolar region. The restoration was completed using a single shade of A2 Voco Grandio SO.
