Back to back Class II replacements are best tackled one at a time. In the rare situation, if you can perfectly set up a back to back matrix with the Garrison or Palodent Plus sectional matrices, and it’s your lucky day, you can get nice proportions of the teeth and a firm contact at the same time. I find that finishing one tooth before I start the next is the standard in predictability for a firm contact and desirable proportions. An Ultradent Omnimatrix was used for the first premolar and a Garrison Compositight 3D Fusion sectional matrix was used for the second premolar.
