this tooth is C R A C K. Comminuted fractures secondary to years of cyclic fatigue found on the pulpal floor of this first molar. The buccal hairline fracture was going to be treated today but we were ambushed by the distal marginal ridge hairline fractures and secondary decay at that location so that was a priority from a time standpoint. The buccal dissection is next.
