Replacing Part of an old Dental Composite Restoration

This case featured a partial replacement on the first molar as the distal was intact for the most part and the patient’s primary concern was around food trapping in this region and mesial of the second bicuspid.   Chemical bonding was completed via a silane coupling agent to the old silica in the existing composite.
