An extreme ambush of a case where the peripheral seal zone was well and truly challenging to achieve. An intentional violation of biologic width was required in order to remove the caries proximal to the DEJ, which then necessitated DME using the Omnimatrix band before the Garrison Compositight system components could be fitted in the conventional manner. The dentin mass was reinforced using SFRC Ever-X Flow deeper before use of Clearfil DC Core Plus in the coronal 1/3rd. The capping composite was Kerr Simplishade Medium.
