Uber-difficult isolation case on this 13 year old female with an erupting follicle and associated external oblique ridge immediately below the mechanico-carious fracture line of this partially-erupted hypomin molar.  Freehand buildup under retraction cord to raise the margin on the B aspect (no clamp was possible in this region, unless one “clamps the gingiva” before rubber dam was secured to complete the restoration.

Single shade restoration using Simplishade Light, which of course, is not as chalky and opacious as hypomineralized enamel, but an acceptable result with variant anatomy.
