The amalgam restorations exhibited recurrent caries in this case in which we only addressed the 44 and 45. The distal marginal ridge of 44 was completed with an Omnimatrix and the entire tooth layered with GC Essentia U (A2.5) and finished before tackling the 45MOD with the Garrison Compositight 3D Fusion matrix system in a stacked fashion.
