There is no such thing as simple. In such a small area such as an interproximal slot, there are a host of features that one strives to recreate from the distal pit elements to the marginal ridge and occlusal embrasure. It all counts. What about light hypomineralized detail which becomes exaggerated with dehydration during the procedure.
