This young gentleman will be undergoing a LeFort I osteotomy to advance the maxilla and a bilateral sagittal split osteotomy to retrude a Skeletal Class III very soon. The goals of this pre-surgical prosthetic phase was to restore the palatal aspects without removing the fixed appliances so that ideal anteroposterior positioning of the osteotomy sections can be more predictable long term instead of establishing a normal overjet/OB with eroded palatal surfaces.
