Retraction cord is my preferred method of isolating Class V’s, especially those with subgingival extensions. Visibility is just supreme, and there is minimal discomfort whereas often when I use Brinker B4’s there is limited, incomplete access and more significant patient reaction. This case was completed using a single shade of the A2:A3 Essentia Universal. It is important to note that exposed dentin from primary cervical abrasion is more susceptible to secondary erosion from extrinsic and intrinsic acids.
