This lower left centrtal incisor exhibited a vertical shear enamel fracture causing the patient esthetic discomfort. Augmentation of this region in addition to contact lengthening via slight cervicoproximal positive contouring is invisible using the chameleon composite from Kuraray featuring Light Diffusion Technology, a situation where the refractive index (1.42-1.44) of the material is not too close but not too far from enamel (1.62) and dentin (1.54), allowing for both a blocking and blending effect.
