Everyone wants to save their third molars, whether they are in function or not. This third molar was heavily-decayed. A microlayered base of Clearfil AP-X Esthetics Flow was utilized before the use of a short fiber reinforced base (Ever-X Flow, GC America) featuring 6micron diameter barium fibers an average of 140microns long. Not quite the dimensions of collagen, but the concept is good. The fracture toughness even better.
No hot cross bun this time.
