The bond used in this case was Clearfil Universal Bond Quick, a novel MDP-based multimodal adhesive that features an initially very hydrophilic amide monomer that when air thinned and cured actually becomes more hydrophobic and features an intrinsic flexural strength of the bond layer of 120MPa. It features a 3 second application time.
