We had the opportunity to replace the endodontic access restoration on this #13/2.5. As it was a PFM crown/abutment, the metal was subjected to micro air abrasion (27 micron aluminum oxide) before the porcelain margin was etched with a 5% HF (aq) for 1 minute, followed by 33% H3PO4 (aq), followed by a combination metal-silane coupling agent (GC G-MultiPrimer) before adhesion using G-Premio Bond. White tint was utilized (Voco Final Touch White) prior to placement of A3.5D layers to complete the composition. Voco Final Touch Brown was utilized to tint the fissures.
