This patient exhibited a long-standing near-complicated enamel dentin fracture of tooth 15 (2.7)MODP secondary to a rugby accident many years ago. There was closure of the space slightly with buccoversion of the tooth. After diode gingivectomy to displace palatal tissue and expose the margin, the tooth was micro air abraded (27 micron aluminum oxide) and total etch adhesive protocol followed with Kerr Optibond Solo Plus. The palatal was free-handed before placement of an Omnimatrix was possible. This allowed re-creation of the proximal and palatal aspects in an efficient manner. The restoration was layered to completion using a single shade of Voco Grandio SO A2.
