Crown replacement workflow due to an open margin/recurrent caries affecting the mesial aspect of this upper second molar. The third molar was unclampable due to the proximity of the zygomatic Lash Architect during opening, so we had to clamp the tooth we were working on and try not to commit iatrogenic sins against the mesial of the third molar.
The endocore was completed using a microlayered base utilizing Majesty Flow before a mid-section of a SFRC, Ever-X Flow, which demonstrates significantly greater fracture toughness relative to native dentin. The “capping” core layer consisted of Clearfil DC Core Plus.
