Three key elements that I like to use in a facially-driven smile design case are:
1) e-lab grey calibration card – critical for calibration of color space for “virtual try-in” of the final restoration especially when your ceramist is miles away.
2) Use the trial smile (not motivational mock-up if a reductive-additive case) and prep through this to a depth of approximately 0.4mm, remove and finish the preparation.
