If you’ve ever struggled getting clear and crisp margins on your crown preps, pack down a #00 Ultrapak cord followed by a #1 both soaked in Viscostat Clear and just wait 5 minutes before taking out the second cord and taking your impression. Get the tip right in the sulcus before you extrude. No need to blow air or anything fancy…just put your heavy body/Monophase on. This is essential whether you’re scanning digitally or taking analog impressions – if you can’t see it, you can’t capture it.
