Sectional matrix systems are not built the same, especially when it comes to trying to close large diastemas between teeth.  The Compositight 3D Fusion and Palodent were unsuccessful in establishing a passive curvature touching the proximoaxial wall of the adjacent tooth, but this is a situation where the new Garrison Strata-G shines.

The marginal ridge was constructed first to change a Class II into a Class I situation on tooth #12 before microlayering the base using Majesty Esthetic flowable A2.  The capping composite was layered using Majesty ES-2 Universal U.  I like this material when the tooth is “not so opaque” as it has a really nice translucency to it.
