I always try to isolate with rubber dam for fissurotomies and sealants, as you never know whether the patient is a mouth breather or not and also want to do this as expeditiously as possible. I really hate losing fissure definition with high-flow flowable composites, so I find the consistency of G-Aenial Universal Injectable (GUI) perfect as it slumps really slowly, slow enough for you to define a fissure and get that light in before the Red Sea closes up again.
