This heavily restored Class II restoration on tooth #5 had mesial marginal ridge vertical hairline fractures but not extending into the dentin. The decision was made not to extend the preparation to this area. A floss tie was used to secure a Garrison Slick Band (Grey) to allow for anatomic reproduction of axial contours. A single shade of A3 Clinicians Choice Evanesce was utilized for this restoration from whoa to go. The excellent chameleon effect of this material is evident. No post-operative adjustments were required.
