Recurrent caries under this old composite restoration which was previously in close proximity to tooth #14(2.6) with pre-existing enamel damage from past restorative attempts. Following the preparation, the M aspect of the molar was plastied slightly to allow for passive seating of the sectional matrix (lest it crinkle).
