This is a solution that we used to eliminate a perio-endo lesion from a tooth that was part of a splint family, whilst maintaining splint esthetics as the last resort before implant reconstruction of the area. The splint was fabricated using GC’s EverStick Perio and secured prior to removal of the root. The pontic is designed as a hygienic type with the apical extent still falling below the level of maximal downward lip displacement.
