The small things relative to the incisal window make these lesions actually some of the hardest to restore seamlessly. As you can tell it is far from perfect, but a good friend once said, “Perfection is impossible, but if you chase it, you might catch excellence.”
Some considerations:
– The presence and balance of opacity
– The need to block out the fracture line in a low buccolingual volume position
– The need to establish an incisal halo
– The need to establish a natural polychromatic gradient incisal to cervical
– The need to place maverick effects internally
– The need to balance the texture of the restoration with the surroundings.
