This lovely 65 year old lady presented on referral from a practice down south with proclined upper anteriors (post-orthodontics), and implants already placed in the upper left canine, upper right canine and upper right second bicuspid regions. Based on the limited bone quantity available, the decision was made to cantilever a bicuspid distally off the upper left canine implant, which is not ideal from a force leverage standpoint, but my periodontist did not want to place an additional implant in that compromised site.
Foundational composite restorations were completed before the upper rehabilitation, which aimed to restoratively decrease the proclination and lip wedge.
