Decided to use the Garrison Varistrips as an alternative to the Slick bands for subgingival adaptation simply as this “black triangle” was virtually almost a diastema closure with coronal extent. A single shade of Voco Grandio SO was utilized.
This Supercomposite features a compressive strength of 439MPa (enamel = 384MPa, Dentin = 297MPa) and an impressive flexural strength of 187MPa (dentin = 165.6MPa) even after thermocycling for 5000 cycles (158MPa).
