This lovely woman presented with old restorations that exhibited marginal failure, disproportionate dimensions and poor esthetics. The case was designed in 2D using Smile Designer Pro and calibrated before the 3D diagnostic wax-up was derived from this. Following removal of the old restorations, multiple decimated teeth were present with an need for fresh adhesive core reconstruction. The design called for both soft and hard tissue recontouring to optimize proportions giving the illusion of well-aligned teeth. The Ultradent Gemini Evo was utilized on dual wavelength, Superpulsed mode (0.9W, 810nm, 980nm). Provisionals were fabricated from GC TempSmart and characterized with the Optiglaze Kit (Grey, White, Pink orange). There was an unexpected gingival zenith asymmetry between the centrals following healing which was touched up with the Gemini Evo on cementation day after confirming crestal position and no need to resect the osseous crest. The final result is a balanced, pleasing result that reflects the personality of the patient.
